How we work

From handshake to first sale

Start to finish, here is exactly what happens — what we do, what you do, and how long each part takes. No surprises, no fine print.

The whole thing, step by step

Most places are live inside two weeks. The only thing we need from you is a logo and a yes.

1

We talk for fifteen minutes

A phone call or we stop in. You tell us about the place, who drinks there, and whether anyone has ever asked to buy a shirt. That is the whole meeting. Nothing to prepare.

Day 1
2

Artwork — ours or yours

We will design it for you: three concepts on a shirt, free, whether you go ahead or not. If your logo only exists on a sign or an old menu we redraw it clean so it prints sharp. Already have artwork you like, or a designer you use? Send it over and we will run with it instead. Either way nothing goes live until you approve it.

3

One page to sign

A short license letting us put your mark on apparel. You keep full ownership of your logo. No exclusivity, no minimum term, no fee. Tell us to stop and we take the page down the same day.

Day of
4

You get your own page

Your collection lives at barbackmerch.com with your name on it — your shirts, your hats, your colors. Not a shared catalog with your logo buried in it.

2 to 3 days
5

Your codes show up

Laminated QR signs and printed flyers, every one of them pointing at your page and nowhere else. We email you the print-ready artwork free, or we ship the printed set to you. If you want shirts for your staff at the same time we can send those too, at our cost — optional, never required, and never a condition of anything here.

About a week
6

Put them where people sit

The back bar, next to the register, the bathroom mirror, the front door. This is the one part that is genuinely on you, and it is the difference between a venue that sells forty shirts a year and one that sells four hundred. The bars that do well are the ones whose code is impossible to miss — and the ones whose staff are wearing the shirt.

Your part
7

A regular scans it

It opens on their phone, they pick a size, they pay. About a minute, start to finish. No app, no account, no waiting on a bartender to ring it up.

60 seconds
8

We print it and ship it

Printed after the order comes in, then shipped straight to that customer. You never buy a shirt, never store one, never guess at sizes, and never mail anything. Nothing sits in your back room because nothing exists until somebody buys it.

5 to 9 days to their door
9

You get paid, monthly

A set amount on every single item sold — three dollars a tee, five a hat, five a hoodie, seven a crewneck, twelve a quarter-zip, twelve a polo. Same whether it is a small or a 3XL. One payment a month with a line for every item so you can check it against your own count.

Every month
10

We keep adding designs

Your regulars will buy the first shirt once. New art is what makes them buy a second. Seasonal drops, a shirt for your anniversary, something for the softball team — we design them, you approve them. New designs never cost you anything. Bring us your own ideas any time and we will put them on the page.

Ongoing
11

You start unlocking things

Sell an average of ten items per employee in a quarter and your whole staff gets fresh merch the next quarter, on us. Refer another bar that signs and starts selling, and your next quarter's target drops by a quarter. At 250 items sold you get a brass plate for the wall. Counts are on completed orders net of refunds, tallied at quarter end.

The good part

That is the whole process

No cost to start, no inventory, no contract you cannot walk away from. Send us your place and we will mock up your logo on a shirt for free.
