We make merch for bars that don't want inventory.
Every good bar has a logo people would wear. Almost none of them sell shirts. The reason is boring and always the same: a print run costs a thousand dollars up front, you have to guess how many larges to order, and whatever you guess wrong sits in a box by the walk-in for three years.
So the shirts never get made, and the regulars who would have bought one never get the chance.
Barback Merch fixes that with a QR code. Someone scans it at the bar, picks a size on their phone, and the shirt gets printed and shipped to their house. Nobody stocks anything. The bar takes no risk and puts up no money. They just get paid when something sells.
Why the name
A barback is the person who keeps the bar stocked so the bartender can actually work — hauling ice, changing kegs, running glassware, staying out of the way. Nobody notices a good one. That's the job we're doing, for merch.
How the shirts get made
Everything is printed on demand in the United States after you order it. No warehouse, no overruns, nothing thrown away. It takes a couple of days longer than pulling a shirt off a shelf, and in exchange no bar has to gamble a thousand dollars to find out whether their regulars want one.
We use Bella+Canvas blanks for tees because they fit like a shirt you'd actually choose, not like a giveaway from a 5K.
